Scholars Search Sports Academy, is the first sports academy established at Korpana, Ta- Korpana, district: Chandrapur, Maharashtra in 2009. Korpana Tahsil is remote, tribal, Naxal affected area and thus lack sports education. Earlier there was no scope for the students who are interested to make a career in sports and athletics. To provide a platform for sports and athletics, Scholars Search Sports Academy was started. Scholars Search Sports Academy is run by Search Foundation which is registered under the Society Act, 1860 & Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950.

Sport is considered a kind of physical activity that governs the whole body and also teaches to follow discipline in a strict manner. Sport not only develops the feeling of friendship and unity among the players but also turns them to be a disciplined person. A person can be a good sportsman only when he gets well acquainted with every little technique of that sport.

The proper training requires full dedication and the long practice of that particular sport. Scholars Search Sports Academy in Korpana is also providing the best training of the particular sports depending upon the interest of students.

Aims and Objectives:

• Promotion of Physical and Mental fitness of every citizen.
• Promotion of Exercises through yoga
• Improve Physical Fitness and mental peace
• Increasing Stamina and inner health

• Create a feeling of affection for Sports

There is a list of sports which the Indian central government and the state governments recognize. There are a total of 43 sports which are recognized by the government. The 43 sports are as follows:
